The RideStrong on-line community links you up to like-minded cyclists via forums, blogs, and user groups. Wikis provide ever evolving information and knowledge and you’ll have your voice heard through polls and surveys.
As part of the community, you will have two way dialogue with those organizations that influence cycling safety and enjoyment. This is the serious side of RideStrong, is our fundamental cause, and is an important need for all cyclists. The RideStrong community website will be the central hub for all cyclists to have their say and to assist in influencing and shaping the future of cycling.
Theres a fun side too, and as the community develops so too will the breadth of different topics that you can take part in. You'll be able to connect with a wide range of formal and informal riding groups, regional cycling programmes and organisations, and all manner of cycling events. You'll be able to track performance of our elite riders and learn what makes them go fast. You'll be able to share the knowledge of experts on a wide range of subjects that will improve what you get out of your cycling, whether that's how to get started, how to buy or fix your bike, or how to fine tune your body or bike ready for your next big event.
Like other social and community networking websites (think Facebook) you'll be able to connect with your riding mates and connect with new like-minded people, organize your rides and compare your training progress. RideStrong will also keep you well informed of it's activities and progress on behalf of members, and will also keep you well informed on new deals and member benefits that we arrange. You'll be kept up to speed with what's going on in the cycling world.
The RideStrong site content, features and value will grow as more members come on board (so get your friends signed up). It will be the members that shape the content and direction of the site. The RideStrong cyclist will:
- Have access to a growing range of information, education and advice that will support your cycling with Wiki articles
