Melbourne World Cup Report 7 - Day 2 TP, Kieran and Womens Points

Another warm day in Melbourne, but the air con is still humming at the Hisense Velodrome.

First up this is Jo K rolling out for her second race in 24 hours with the Womens Points Qualifying.  Jo looked comfortable in the bunch early on and finished with a great sprint to easily qualify for the final tonight.

Next up the Mens TP, strange situation for the TP to be off 3rd  from a field of twelve, but as this is the first hit out for the season start positions are all about your UCI points.  The boys knocked it off hard from the line and completed the 4000m in 4.03  Aussies next and they posted a time just .9 faster than the kiwis.  It was a long wait until the GB boys stepped up to the line and with their form we expected  them to step it up another level they posted a high 4.01 - so its going to be GB vs Aussie, Kiwis vs Danish
