Last week I was doing a number of late night exercise sessions. Some involved riding streets of Wellington after the House finished. To add a spanner in the works, I am also running 41km across Great Barrier Island next weekend which will involve a lot of hills and trekking through some native bush.
This has meant that I have substituted cycling time for running time and my legs are aching. However I am determined to get a decent ride in this weekend in between my 3 hour run.
I see Trevor has been going to the extreme of getting in Velodrome practice – he must be worried.
Unfortunately at this point, it looks like he is going the whole nine yards, and I will have to step up – I need more time on the bike.
